Christina Applegate has come an awful long way from the hazy dimwit she played on Married With Children. She’s not a widely recognized actress, and has starred in a number of films (my personal favorite is still Anchorman, quiet you haters!). Most recently she’s gotten back into the small screen with her solid comedy Samantha Who, and she recently had a chat with TV.com as to her past and what she looks forward to in the future.
So what can we expect now that Samantha Who’s break is officially over? It turns out that her character Sam will be accompanying her best friend on her adventures to date Tony Dane, who she’s obsessed with. Unfortunately it turns out that he may not be such a fan of her, and Todd and Sam end up going on a double date with them. Sounds a little dull when you first hear it, but I’m sure it will be better in action.
We also get to see more of Sam pre-amnesia and if you’ve watched the show you probably know she wasn’t a nice person before she lost her memory. With that said Ms. Applegate said that she loves playing such a confident character (even if she’s an arrogant B* most of the time). She also went on to say that the show has been a great learning experience and that she’s very happy with it. Just like you and me (not really) she has a job to do and thankfully for her she loves doing it. Feel free to take a look at the whole interview.
