It appears that Charlie Sheen has managed to salvage his questionable movie career by participating in the rather hilarious show Two And A Half Men. I’ve often heard that the show is dumbed down and too simple in it’s humor and writing, but I don’t watch such content for the intellectual stimulation, simply for the entertainment value.
The Holywood Reporter recently pointed out that CBS is getting close to a major commitment for the show (The Big Bang Theory also received a nod in this regard). The deal would involve multi-season showings, with 3 years for Two and a Half Men. As much as I enjoy the show, I’m surprised to think the network considers it has that much staying power.
Both Two and Big Bang were co-created by Chuck Lorre, and currently airs at 9pm on Mondays. It’s managed to keep high ratings all season long, and whether you’re a fan or not, it looks like you’ll have to get used to the idea of the show being around.
